This Privacy Policy details the personal information ACEsnaps Photography may collect from you whilst you interact with us.  We collect and process data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU) 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act 2018. We do not disclose data to any third parties unless it is necessary for the fulfilment of a service, you have specifically given consent for a particular service, or we have a legitimate interest in disclosing data.

The Website

The ACEsnaps Photography website complies with the Data Protection Act 1998 in relation to all processing of personal data supplied to us by users and other personal data in our possession for any reason. It is the policy of ACEsnaps Photography to maintain the privacy and confidentiality of any personal information, such as your name, address, email address, or telephone number that you provide to us.  By using this site, you consent to the terms of this website privacy policy. We do not collect, use or disclose your personal information for any purpose other than those identified below, except with your consent or as required by law.

Each time you visit our website www.acesnaps.co.uk the web server collects and logs certain information. We keep these access logs for a reasonable period of time. These logs include, but are not restricted to: your computer’s TCP/IP address, your username (if applicable), date, time and files accessed. These logs also contain information about referrer information if you clicked on an external link in order to access a webpage. We use these logs solely for performance, site administration and security reviews. We do not sell or share this information with any third party.

We will only collect personal information about you, such as your name, address, email address, or telephone number when you voluntarily provide it to us. For example, we may receive personal information about you when you send us an email through our website or sign up for our newsletter (where applicable).

We do not sell any personal information we receive to any third party, nor will we add such information to any bulk email list we may prepare

Contact Forms

When using our contact form we collect the following information which is directly provided by the user:  name, email address and message itself. The information provided is used to reply or for direct contact with the user. This information is never used by third-party services or sold.

Third Parties

If you purchase a photographic product from ACEsnaps Photography, we use the third party Pixieset for displaying imagery and collating order information. PayPal is used as the online payment option. 

If you purchase a School Photograph, we also use the third party Pics4Schools operated by One Vision Imaging Ltd for displaying imagery, fulfilling orders and collating order information.  PayPal is used as the online payment option.

Any personal information collected by ACEsnaps Photography is solely for the purpose of fulfilling the photography orders and is accessed solely by the Controller, Amelia de Jong. Any electronic payments are fulfilled securely via PayPal.  This information will never be passed to other parties or used for marketing.

How does the GDPR affect school photography?

When we take school photographs, we do not collect any personal data of the students or staff being photographed.  Images after capture are securely downloaded, edited and stored on secure backup.  The only person with access to the images is Amelia de Jong. 

Images are shared with parents either via a secure private online gallery with a passcode or individual proof cards with a unique code to access an individual child’s images. Any personal information collected via ordering from parents is via the Pixieset or Pics4Schools third party websites whose Privacy and GDPR policies are fully compliant.
